In years past, I have written my now "world famous" blogpost entitled What Happens When You Marry a Frenchman. Nine volumes to be exact.
I actually thought that I might retire this post until the recent pictures came in from my sister's trip to Grand Isle with her family. The Hebert clan.
The Hebert's have become a part of my life and we share two prize possessions....my "little" baby doll sis, Ava, now all grown up AND our new doll, Sweet Annie.
I thought I had seen it all from the Hebert clan until my bro-in-law JJ found a solution to his phalangeal impairment following his run in with the lawnmower blades. That's nothing that an Hebert can't fix. "I'll just cover my broken, half-chopped off fingers with a prophylactic." Anything to keep the salt water and sand out.
JJ's solution worked....the boys AND Ava brought home a mess of fish, meanwhile, I loaded up on sun perch at Lake D'arbonne and canned some Ruston peaches hoping for a nice trade when the ship comes in.And that does it for this year's Grand Isle trip and What Happens When You Marry a Frenchman.
